Oh hey 👋 need a little more info before you hit the road?

Swipe left to learn how to scoot safely...it’ll take no more than a minute or 2

First things first, let’s make sure you’re safe

Bring your own helmet (and always follow local helmet laws). Give the handlebars a wipe before and after use, and follow local health and sanitation rules.

The exciting bit, starting your scooter

Pop one foot on the deck and push off with the other…you’re moving!
Speeding up. Use the right lever to gain speed.

Slowing down

Use the brakes (positioned on both handlebars) to slow yourself down…they can be punchy so don’t grab them too hard. Don’t step on the rear fender.

Be safe - be visible

Move carefully in traffic, avoid blind spots, use the indicators and only scoot solo.

Be a nice human.

Make sure you park responsibly. Don’t block driveways or pavements and watch out for local signs. If you end a trip in a restricted area, you might be liable for a fee 🙀

Vulnerable road users

Not all visually impaired people have a guide dog or use a white cane and not all disabilities are obvious.
Be vigilat at crossings and aware that some people may have limited mobility.

Other transport services

Remember you can't use eScooters on train platforms or take a TIER scooter on any form of public transport

Pedestrians

Remember pedestrians have right of way on the pavement and at most crossings.

Cyclists and other road users

Ensure you respect others, keep to the correct side of pathways and don't tailgate other road users.

Cars, vans, and trucks

Improve your visibility by wearing suitable reflective clothing and always use lights when riding after dark or in poor weather.

Not all disabilities can be seen

Ensure you respect others' needs, even if they're not immediately apparent. Be sure to give others enough space and stay focused on your surroundings.

Scoot safely

Respect local rules and avoid risky manoeuvres. Otherwise your top speed will be reduced.

Two is one too many

Our eScooters fit one person perfectly. If you're travelling with a group, you can all grab an eScooter, but please don't share vehicles.
